The Craft Shoebox

We had a holiday milk and cookies party for my older daughters playgroup (a kid cookie exchange).
Our craft was to make a plate for the cookies for Santa with her friends. This year we did a handprint raindeer, but a Santa or Christmas tree would be easy to do too!
I used plates from the dollar store, non toxic enamel folk art paint, and a cut to shape dish sponge. Once the plate is baked it's top rack dish washer safe. If you used a glass plate, and used the bottom you could probably use it.
Here's a little poem you could attach.
When you use this plate, From year to year,

I hope it brings you a smile From ear to ear

This handprint Raindeer will Help you to remember,

How small I was in 2010.
